Welcome to Crochetville’s fifth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2017. I can’t resist patterns whether crochet ones or quilling (my second hobby–yes that’s two l’s). For crochet I especially like smaller fast projects or afghans.

My mother used to collect so many of these. I continue to carry on this tradition. They are always full of some of the best patterns!

I guess I do. I have a couple of boxes of the little magazines that used to be popular. They were about 1/3 the size of today’s magazines so they fit easy in a project bag. When I’m looking for a vintage pattern I get them out and flip through them.

I am very new to crocheting so I do not own any crochet books of any kind. Yet, at least!
I collect all kinds of craft books, quilting, sewing, crafting with kids, basically anything I can get my hands on. I love crafting and I love reading craft books.
I use to collect the smaller Annie’s Attic pattern books.
I don’t collect crochet booklets yet, but I’m really looking to find some old Japanese, Russian, and Irish charts to start a collection.

I don’t really search out these old booklets, but I get excited when I happen upon one randomly. I have a couple from my husband’s grandmother who taught me to knit that are really special. I love the detailed descriptions and patterns.

I love crochet books and booklets from the 1800’s thru the 1950’s. I love the doilies, accessories and kitchen items from these time periods.
Yes, I collect craft booklets! I love finding old (think 1950’s or older) crochet booklets, especially doilies, edging, or other types of lace.

Yes, I collect craft booklets. I love to shop and thrift stores. I look for crochet, of course, and just about any kind of craft. It’s fun! I was trying to crochet a cozie for my grandson’s teacher last year, and couldn’t remember how to crochet a circle. I didn’t have internet at the time, but I did have an out of print crochet book that showed me just what to do!
I love crochet books from the 60s & 70s. The fashion and home patterns in them just make me smile!
I love crochet pattern booklet’s, books, etc. I hope crochet designers keep making more patterns. I love paper copies of things.
I love collecting the really old crochet books (pre-1950 especially), though I really wish they would at least give a gauge on the clothing, so I’d have some idea of what yarn and hook/needles to use! 🙂
I’m not a collector in the true sense. Most of what I have used to be my grandmother’s who had some subscriptions

I love to collect all crochet related books, specially stitch dictionaries or for wearables.
I love going into my local Salvation Army store and spend time looking through the many books that they have. I have found many of my crochet books there. Some are from the early 70’s and 80’s. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love books on crafts that you don’t hear about much any longer, old craft books. I also love any crochet books.
