About Jennifer:

I live in the middle of the woods, along a river in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with my husband and our three kids. We also have a grown daughter and three adorable grandbabies. Unlike many others, I do not have a warm, fuzzy story to share with you about how my grandmother taught me to crochet at the young age of five. As a matter of fact, just fiveshort years ago I had absolutely no idea what the difference was between a crochet hook or knitting needles, but I decided to teach myself to crochet and haven’t looked back. Since then I have independently published over 200 original crochet designs and have been published in books and magazines. And during the summer of 2016, I filmed 3 video classes with Annie’s. I love continuously exploring new techniques and putting my own spin on the classics; but most of all, I love sharing my passion for crochet and teaching others.

One my my most popular patterns is my “Boho Chic” Mosaic Tote Bag. This is a bag that I designed before one of my trips to a CGOA conference. There were several different techniques that went into the making of this bag, and it was definitely a labor of love, but well worth every stitch (and every end that needed to be woven in from the color work).
