A-Glamping We Will Go: 5th Annual National Crochet Month Blog Tour
Welcome to Crochetville’s fifth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2017. Join us for a month of virtual glamping (aka glamorous camping), as we visit crochet designers, crochet-friendly local yarn stores, and yarn companies, as well as offer some fun giveaways.
Today’s Posts: Tatsiana Kupryianchyk | Jennifer Pionk | Kirsten Ballering | Yarnatopia
Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of glamping is the daily round-up around the campfire, chatting and stitching with friends. We hope you’ll join us in our NatCroMo Facebook group, where we’ll be sharing daily camping recipes, campfire songs about crochet, and so much more! We’d also love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

Tell Us About Your Store
Yarnatopia is most definitely Crochet Friendly! Mary Cook, one of our Co-Owners, has been an avid crocheter for over 30 years and she makes sure we have plenty of crocheted samples around the store.
We carry several brands of crochet hooks as well, including ChiaoGoo, Crystal Palace, Knit Picks, Knitter’s Pride, Etimo, and Boye, from sizes 16 to R, as well as Tunisian hooks.
Our beginning crochet class is always free if you buy your supplies from us, plus we have plenty of other classes throughout the month as well.
In honor of NatCroMo, we are having a CAL featuring the Goldberry Shawl by Michele DuNaier from Ravelry. Mary’s sample is very nearly complete. She is crocheting it from Malabrigo Mechita in Dried Orange color and it is absolutely stunning. Several of our customers are already signing up, just waiting for the yarn shipment to arrive. We plan to begin on March 2nd, during our Open Fiber Night which meets every Thursday.
