Welcome to Crochetville’s fifth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2017. I have not yet crocheted with thread. Would be willing to try
I’ve only worked with thread a couple times. I find it hard to hold and it took me a while to get used to seeing the tiny stitches
I have crochet with thread a lot, but not much lately. I love making doilies.
I haven’t had the courage to try thread crochet yet, but I would definitely like to learn. I’ve always wanted to make some of those super delicate doilies and things.
I do like to crochet with thread. Using thread makes an item look delicate and ornate.
I really want to do more with thread, my mother prefered thread and did beautiful work. I miss her everday
I love vintage books and I would love to add these to my collection. It is fun to look back and learn from those who have gone before me. I love looking through the old magazines at the old vintage photos and ads.
I haven’t done a lot of it,but do want to do more (I do tend to make thread crochet patterns into larger things with yarn fairly often).
I have been working with thread a lot lately doing some filet crochet pieces. For me, crocheting with thread takes longer, I’m not as fast as with yarn. My hands cramp more holding those little steel hooks so I have to take more breaks. I prefer to use yarn but for some things you have to sacrifice. 😉
I’m dying to try thread crochet… I’ve been collecting hooks and thread but haven’t taken the plunge!
So far, I’ve mutated thread patterns such as doilies into worsted weight monsters. As I get more comfortable with thinner yarns, I’m closer to being ready to crochet with thread for real.
I learned to crochet with thread when I was a young girl. My grandmother taught me. So, yes, I do enjoy crocheting with thread.

Crocheting with thread is enjoyable when I do it. I have made doilies and jewelry, but not as often as I would like. When I do I am always happy I did.
Thread crochet has always intimadated me, its so fine. I was taught a while back with a thick and thin yarn. This year i intend to conquer this! These would be great to have!
