Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of glamping is the daily round-up around the campfire, chatting and stitching with friends. We hope you’ll join us in our NatCroMo Facebook group, where we’ll be sharing daily camping recipes, campfire songs about crochet, and so much more! We’d also love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

I have not yet crocheted with thread. Would be willing to try
I’ve only worked with thread a couple times. I find it hard to hold and it took me a while to get used to seeing the tiny stitches
I have crochet with thread a lot, but not much lately. I love making doilies.
I haven’t had the courage to try thread crochet yet, but I would definitely like to learn. I’ve always wanted to make some of those super delicate doilies and things.
I do like to crochet with thread. Using thread makes an item look delicate and ornate.
I really want to do more with thread, my mother prefered thread and did beautiful work. I miss her everday
I love vintage books and I would love to add these to my collection. It is fun to look back and learn from those who have gone before me. I love looking through the old magazines at the old vintage photos and ads.
I haven’t done a lot of it,but do want to do more (I do tend to make thread crochet patterns into larger things with yarn fairly often).
I have been working with thread a lot lately doing some filet crochet pieces. For me, crocheting with thread takes longer, I’m not as fast as with yarn. My hands cramp more holding those little steel hooks so I have to take more breaks. I prefer to use yarn but for some things you have to sacrifice. 😉
I’m dying to try thread crochet… I’ve been collecting hooks and thread but haven’t taken the plunge!
So far, I’ve mutated thread patterns such as doilies into worsted weight monsters. As I get more comfortable with thinner yarns, I’m closer to being ready to crochet with thread for real.
I learned to crochet with thread when I was a young girl. My grandmother taught me. So, yes, I do enjoy crocheting with thread.
I love crocheting with thread, use it to make crocheted jewelry.
I don’t like to crochet with thread but I will when it is called for. I love vintage booklets!
I love doing thread work. Mostly, pineapple type doileys. Also, I like to use #3 or #5 to make filet sided Bags.
I do enjoy crocheting with thread and love the delicate look of crocheted thread lace.
I love thread crochet! Sold many crocheted flowers to scrapbookers a couple years ago.
I love crocheting with thread. I first learned to crochet using thread. I also collect older crochet books. Thank you for this giveaway.
Crocheting with thread is enjoyable when I do it. I have made doilies and jewelry, but not as often as I would like. When I do I am always happy I did.
Thread crochet has always intimadated me, its so fine. I was taught a while back with a thick and thin yarn. This year i intend to conquer this! These would be great to have!
I haven’t crocheted with thread-yet. I bought some, but need to get the correct hook size. And need to build up my confidence to try it!
I do enjoy crocheting with thread-very nice, neat and creates an heirloom piece. Thank you, Susan
My first crochet projects were made of thread (over 40 years ago), and I’m enjoying thread still, though use other yarns as well.
I love crocheting with thread and especially obsessed with vintage craft books.
What a treat to see what patterns our grandmothers made things from. Thank you so much for this giveaway.
Have never tried crocheting with thread. Gotta get a big magnifying glass for that project. Would love to make a doily. I have seen so so many beautiful patterns.
I haven’t crocheted with thread yet, but I want to try it because I love the intricacy and fine detail it offers.
I would love to try thread crochet but I love crocheting with yarn.
I looooove crocheting with thread. I just don’t do it as often as I’d like because all my friends are already well-supplied with doilies LOL!
I’ve crocheted a few times with thread and I enjoy it. It’s always a little awkward at first but I get used to it pretty quick.
I have never tried before, but I would like to. It sounds interesting.
Do I see a Crinoline Lady!?! Oh my goodness! I was telling my cousin about them lately. She had never heard of them. Would love to see the whole booklet.
