A-Glamping We Will Go: 5th Annual National Crochet Month Blog Tour
Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of glamping is the daily round-up around the campfire, chatting and stitching with friends. We hope you’ll join us in our NatCroMo Facebook group, where we’ll be sharing daily camping recipes, campfire songs about crochet, and so much more! We’d also love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

Sara Leighton, Illuminate Crochet
Crochetville is very proud to have designer Sara Leighton with us today, March 26, as one of the featured designers on our 2017 Designer Blog Tour in honor of National Crochet Month (NatCroMo). If you’d like to know even more about Sara, check out our post from last year’s blog tour.
I live in Seattle, Washington and have a sweet little cat named Ranna. Crochet is my very favorite way to fill my days and bring the ideas I have stored in my brain out into the world to share with others. In addition to crochet, my hobbies include quilling, baking, karaoke, and reading. My favorite food is popcorn, and my favorite color is purple.
Head on over to Sara’ site to find out about crocheting a scrap rug to enhance your glamping experience.
If you’re not familiar with my work already, I’d like to share three of my designs with you.
1. Fox Set, Available in the book Nature’s Gifts for Baby (Leisure Arts) $7.99
With a flash of bright orange this sweet little fox steals your heart. Conjure thoughts of playful forest friends in soft snowfall with this whimsical project. Made in super bulky weight yarn, this cozy set will be ready in no time!
2. Coniferous Set, Available in the book Nature’s Gifts for Baby (Leisure Arts) $7.99
Forests are full of life and magic, just like babies! Celebrate these precious moments with a whimsical hat and blanket, inspired by the Pacific Northwest.
3. Water Lilies Set, Available in the book Nature’s Gifts for Baby (Leisure Arts) $7.99
Inspired by Monet’s paintings, this baby set reflects the simple beauty of a quiet pond. Now baby can snuggle up to a masterpiece in the calm of your arms.
