2017 NatCroMo Blog Tour, March 3: Daily Giveaway

A-Glamping We Will Go: 5th Annual National Crochet Month Blog Tour

Welcome to Crochetville’s fifth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2017. Join us for a month of virtual glamping (aka glamorous camping), as we visit crochet designers, crochet-friendly local yarn stores, and yarn companies, as well as offer some fun giveaways.

Today’s Posts: George Shaheen | Yuliya Tkacheva | Amanda Perkins | The Yarn Haven | A to Z Alpacas | Daily Giveaway

Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of glamping is the daily round-up around the campfire, chatting and stitching with friends. We hope you’ll join us in our NatCroMo Facebook group, where we’ll be sharing daily camping recipes, campfire songs about crochet, and so much more! We’d also love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. It is hard to pick just one favorite. I will go with two: Flurry of Foliage and Lace Labyrinth. Would love to win! Happy NatCroMo!!

  2. My favorite 10 hour or Less design is Tyrian Tide. It’s a great design to show off a particularly beautiful yarn, using only one skein.

  3. I really can’t decide between Feathers of Pharaohs and Floral Fantasy. And I have both (and a fair number of the others).

  4. George has some interesting patterns, The FEATHERS OF PHARAOHS Scarf and FLORAL FANTASY Shawl both look like they would be fun to make.

  5. What is one of your favorite patterns from 10 Hours or Less?

  6. With so many great patterns to choice from it’s hard to just pick one but if I win the gift certificate I will definitely get the Branches of berries scarf. It’s simply lovely.

  7. 10 hours or less fav: Tyrian Tide crochetted scarf. Love anything that reminds me of the oceans, like the tidal ripples in this pat. I’m really excited about finishing in 10 hours or less, and they have some other lacy pats I really love!

  8. I really like the Floral Fantasy shawl (and was hoping to get it, but I guess my card isn’t working with their website for some reason), and, while I’m usually pretty traditional with shawl shapes/designs, I love the unique designs which 10 Hours or Less has put out!

  9. There are so many pretty designs it was hard to narrow it down to one. But my favorite would be the antique armor shawl. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome give away. ?

  10. Wow how can one chose a favorite? There are many pretty ones but if I were to choose just one it would be the lace labyrinth. That one holds my interest.

  11. We’re off to a great start of NatCroMo! Thanks to all the organizers, participating designers, LYS’s, and yarn spinners for another March of crochet love and fun!

It is tough to pick just one favorite 10 Hour or Less design! To make it easier and just for fun, I narrowed it down to six, put them in alphabetical order, and gave each a number from one to six. Then I rolled a virtual die (as in, singular of dice). The winner? FEATHERS OF PHARAOHS Scarf. But they’re all winners really!
