During the blog tour this year, we were truly impressed with one designer’s work and effort to celebrate our glamping (glamorous camping) theme with her patterns. So impressed, in fact, that we were inspired to add a best pattern award to the NatCroMo Blog Tour.
May I present to you our very first winner:
Susie Allen
Glamping Play Tent
2017 NatCroMo Blog Tour Best Glamping Theme Pattern
Congratulations and thank you, Susie!
Susie Allen is “a physical therapist by day and a crochet and knit wear designer by night.” She is passionate about teaching crochet and knitting. She is a mom, wife, hiker, and runner. She loves to travel. You can read more about Susie in our post about her in this year’s NatCroMo Blog Tour, and on her blog, she tells us about her inspiration for these glamping-themed projects.
Glamping Play Tent, $5.99
“There is nothing more fun as a kid than pretending to go camping and then trying to make tents out of blankets. This great tent is crocheted with love, built with love and is sure to please the little one in your life.”
Susie’s award-winning Glamping Play Tent pattern is available for sale in her Ravelry Shop, in addition to her other patterns in this series, Glamping Sleeping Bag, and Campfire Afghan. These patterns are currently on sale in Susie’s Ravelry Store 50% off until April 7th with the code: all glamped out
Congrats Susie! What a darling idea! When my kids and my grandkids were small (not at the same time LOL), they were always dragging out my sheets and blankets to make “tents” in the living room. It would have been neat to have something like your glamping tent for them to play in!
Awesome teepee! That’s a pretty sweet fort…
