We’re excited to announce that Crochetville has been invited to participate in Bijou Basin Ranch‘s blog tour (we’re Stop #7!) promoting Kristin Omdahl’s newest booklet, the Complements Collection. This booklet contains patterns for both crochet and knit projects, all featuring Bijou Basin Ranch yarns.

Crochetville is very happy to have been asked by Bijou Basin Ranch to participate in the blog tour promoting Kristin Omdahl’s newest booklet, the Complements Collection. This booklet represents Bijou Basin’s first collection of patterns in booklet form, featuring 13 crochet and knit designs.
In this collection, Kristin has highlighted many of the exquisite yarns offered by Bijou Basin Ranch. Projects require from one to three skeins of yarn, providing options for nearly any budget. I’ve used a couple of these yarns myself, and they are a crocheter’s dream to work with!
Here are some photos of the fabulous crochet projects in this booklet:
Tibetan Dreams yarn (85% yak/15% nylon), 2 hanks
Skill Level: Intermediate
Bliss yarn (50% yak/50% cormo), 2 hanks
Skill Level: Intermediate
Bliss yarn (50% yak/50% cormo), 1 hank
Skill Level: Beginner
Lhasa Wilderness yarn (75% yak/25% bamboo), 2 hanks
Skill Level: Experienced
I think my favorite is the Tulip Tiered Crochet Cowl above. I love the design of the pattern, and I also love the silkiness and drape of the Lhasa Wilderness yarn.
Why don’t you post and tell us what your favorite crochet project is from this book?
If you’ve used Bijou Basin yarns before, go ahead and tell us which of their yarns is your favorite, too!
