Get Squared™ for the Perfect Fit
Amy Shelton is proud to be the first instructor officially licensed by Jenny King of Jenny King Designs to teach the fabulous new Get Squared™ crochet garment-making program here in the United States when Jenny is not able to be here herself. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for more information about what Get Squared™ is all about.
To comply with copyright laws, each student will also need to purchase Jenny’s downloadable/online Get Squared™ video series. Students can purchase this directly from Jenny’s website in advance or pay a $32 materials fee to Amy at the beginning of the class. There is no need to watch the videos prior to class.
Why Book a Class with Amy
An expert crocheter, Amy is also a pattern designer, crochet instructor, and professional member of the Crochet Guild of America. Amy also served as CGOA president from 2011-2012. She has been crocheting since the age of 9. She has an extensive wardrobe of crocheted garments and accessories.
Amy was a class assistant when Jenny taught the same Get Squared™ class in Nashville, TN in April 2015. She understands how the material should be presented for maximum student engagement and access. Amy has a selection of class sample garments, designed to fit most sizes, that is available for students to try on during class. The magic for students of taking the Get Squared™ class in addition to purchasing the video program is the personalized assistance students will receive from Amy during class plus the opportunity to see first-hand which garment styles, colors, and yarn textures are the most flattering on their personal body type.
Students will also be given information so they can take part in free Get Squared™ Crochet-Alongs on Crochetville, Ravelry, and Facebook ,where they can receive on-going inspiration and support for making more Get Squared™ garments to add to their own wardrobes.
