I’d like to tell you about one of our newest advertisers on the Crochetville blog, Maggie Weldon of Maggie’s Crochet.
Maggie has been designing afghans and home decor projects for publishers and yarn companies since 1981. Her company, Maggie’s Crochet, has published over 20 books and over 700 patterns. In addition to patterns, her website now features yarn, thread, hooks, and accessories as well.
Maggie is also well-known for her lace pottery. I was fortunate enough to be able to take her class in this technique at the Crochet Guild of America’s conference when it was held in Greensboro, NC. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a hot enough kiln to make pieces on my own, but here are some photos of the finished pieces you can buy on her site. Click the photos to see more information on her site about each piece.
