About Jayalaxmi Pillarisetty

Please allow me to introduce our featured hobbyist of the day, Jayalaxmi Pillarisetty. She enjoys crocheting accessories, home decor, purses, flowers, doilies, and doll clothes. Today Jayalaxmi will share some of her crochet memories with us and we’ll showcase three of her crochet projects.

Jayalaxmi’s Crochet Memories

Would you share with us one of your earliest memories of crochet?

I joined the group PAC (Passionate About Crochet) soon after retirement. That was the best thing I did. The group of youngsters I am connected to are full of ideas. I have learnt so many techniques in crochet from them.

Would you share with us one of your most memorable experiences as a crocheter?

I am always making little items to be given away as gifts. I am known as Evergreen Santa which makes me feel happy and satisfied.

Would you share with us another crochet memory?

Post-retirement my hobby kept me happy and busy, but meeting the admin of the group, Mrs. Supriya Pillai, in person was the icing on the cake.
