We receive many such requests every month from crochet-related business owners. These business owners know Crochetville has something extremely valuable to offer them: access to a highly targeted market of avid crocheters in the form of our 86,000 Facebook fans (as of 10/26/13, and growing by 1-2,000 every day), 65,000 social community site members, and up to 225,000 unique site visitors each month. We did not achieve this level of success overnight. We’ve devoted a lot of tie and effort over many years to build up this incredible fan base of active, avid crocheters.
Most of the people who contact us want to reach as many crocheters or people interested in crochet as possible, as quickly as possible, with as little cost (most hopefully FREE) as possible.
Our fan base trusts our opinions about the products and businesses we discuss. A link exchange or Facebook like exchange program would give the appearance to our large fan base that we actually recommend or endorse these other businesses. Since we don’t wish to give that appearance, we regret to disappoint you when we tell you that we are unable to link to or like other pages upon request.
However, we do offer some other ways through which we can help you reach our fan base.
1. Promotional Service
We offer a promotional service to crochet-related businesses that offer products that crocheters use: patterns, yarn, hooks, and tools, for example. We offer banner advertising on our social community message board site. 728 x 90 ads rotate on nearly every page of our forum. Rates are $100 a month, with a significant discount for indie crochet-related businesses. You can read our Advertising Policies here.
3. Free Advertising
We offer FREE, yes, FREE, advertising options to indie businesses on our social community site. You are welcome to post information yourself introducing your business to our site visitors and any other business-related information you wish. Please check out our Free Advertising Policies prior to posting, as we do remove posts that violate those policies.
