The 2014 Designer Blog Tour in honor of National Crochet Month continues today with a visit to crochet designer Michele Maks of Mainly Crochet.
Michele has had a very long run in the business of crochet, first as a freelance designer for 23 years, then as editor of Crochet World, and now as publisher, editor, and sometimes designer at www.mainlycrochet.com . She says, “It is a glorious feeling to work with talented designers and produce patterns in a beautiful and satisfying way.”
I am very proud to count Michele as one of my personal friends. She has so much knowledge of and insight into the crochet industry, that it’s wonderful to be able to bounce ideas off of her. If you’ll be attending the Crochet Guild of America’s conference in Manchester, NH, in July, be sure to check out the Mainly Crochet booth on the show floor. We hope that, like last year, her booth will be located fairly close to the Crochetville/Red Heart booth.

Being at a CGOA show is the height of crochetness! LOVE the camaraderie, the wonderful projects people are wearing and working on, and being with others who get my crochet addiction!CGOA offers a great opportunity for crocheters to meet at the annual Knit & Crochet Show, the most crochetcentric environment I have ever experience!
