NatCroMo 2014, March 28: LeAnna Lyons

NatCroMo2014b

The 2014 Designer Blog Tour in honor of National Crochet Month continues today with a visit to crochet designer LeAnna Lyons.

LeAnna Lyons

LeAnna Lyons, a crocheter for 44 years, and still a newbie crochet designer, is the owner of The Eccentric Haus Frau, a micro business that celebrates the domestic arts of crochet, knitting, sewing, cooking and photography.  LeAnna resides on Vashon Island in the State of Washington with her husband Harry and her four cats who are in heaven with all her yarn.

LeAnna has been a member of the Crochetville social community site practically as long as I have, going back to 2005. I was able to meet LeAnna in person for the first time at the CGOA conference in Reno, NV in 2012. I’m very happy that I’ll be seeing her again at the upcoming conference in Manchester, NH at the end of July.

On CGOA:

LeAnna is a professional member of CGOA (Crochet Guild of America), and she has this to share about her CGOA experience:

I have been a CGOA member on and off for the last 8 years.  Only in the last 2 or 3 years have I managed to make it to the Knit and Crochet Shows.  I love meeting people who share my love of crochet and learning new techniques and sharpening techniques I know already.
