Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. I would absolutely love to win this DVD set. I watch the show but my PBS is about two seasons behind! I learn so many new things on the show. I love the experts that they have, they always explain things in such a clear way. They also pick great designs to feature. Thanks for the chance to win. I cant wait to see the new season, even if I have to wait! 🙂

  2. I have just learned about Knit and Crochet Now, so I haven’t had a chance to view any of the episodes (not sure what you call them ). That being said, you have piqued my interest. I’m not a knitter but as a crocheter I am always looking for new things, new ways and new stitches.

  3. I have watched the Knit and Crochet show, but not often as it is hard to find where I live. I like the different fiber artists that have been the show and the projects that they highlight.

  4. I don’t watch the show. I don’t have a TV and I’m not sure my local PBS station even airs it. I’ve heard so much about it that I’d love to check it out.

  6. Yes, I watch on Create TV plus I have the DVD sets from series 100-300. I like that it covers knitting and crocheting pretty much equally unlike another yarn related show that I also watch which tends to be predominately knitting.

  8. Unfortunately, I am not able to watch “Knit and Crochet Now” as I don’t have cable, satellite, etc. I have been to their web site and love what I’ve seen there, especially the crocheted items!

  9. I’ve used written patterns from Knit & Crochet Now, but I haven’t watched the show. For the most part I prefer written patterns and charts to video tutorials, although I do find them helpful for especially fiddly stitches or techniques.

  13. Yes, I watch every Tuesday and Thursday on Create. I usually have to catch it at 6 a.m., though! What I appreciate about this show is the camera view on how the crochet and the knitting stitches are actually formed. (I only crochet now, but watching knitting done with Continental method has me thinking about trying that someday…) The scarf segment is just downright fun, though. There is lots of fodder for imagination and creativity on this show. I really like it, and have told my crocheting (and knitting!) friends about it!
