Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. I would probably crochet a gorgeous lacy scarf – the problem would be deciding whether to keep it for myself or giving it to someone.

  2. This is so much fun. Thanks so much for the chance to try this lovely yarn. I have only ever used big box stores yarn and this would be my first having some yummy yarn. Thanks and good luck everyone

  3. I would love to win this yarn. Its beautiful and the right weight for our WV springs. I would make a lacy sleeveless shell top out of this yarn. I want to start making crochet wearables for spring and this yarn would be a great start! Loving NatCroMo Month! Thanks for sharing! My fingers are crossed!

  4. This yarn would become a gorgeous summer shawl (ette) if it ends up in my hands for the cool nights we have as temps vary up to 40º F from day time-night time

  5. What delicious looking yarn! The colorway is gorgeous. I’d stitch up a shawl with a large hook so I could wrap myself in it.

Loving all the discoveries along the ride, ladies! Thanks so much for putting it all together!

  6. OOOOOOOO – the color is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! I am in LOVE with it!!!! I would probably make a summer garment since it is a fingering weight yarn – use it as an accent piece so it showcases the yarn!!

  7. What would you make with this gorgeous fingering/sock weight yarn? It looks like it would make a great pair of fingerless gloves.

  9. I have a wonderful Irish Lace pattern for a shrug, I have been dying to make for some time now. This would be an incredible yarn for this project. Maybe I’l get lucky.

  10. I just developed a yummy crocheted shawl pattern that is based on a knitted shawl. Still working on this piece in variegated yarn, it looks like a fractal. It may be interesting to see what a single color (even with subtle shading) would look like! Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful skein!
