Welcome to Crochetville’s fourth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2016. Join us as we take a virtual tour on our passenger steam train, The Crochet Express, visiting crochet designers, crochet-friendly local yarn stores, and yarn companies, and offer some fun giveaways.

Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

Pam Dajczak, Sincerely Pam
Crochetville is very proud to have designer Pam Dajczak with us today as one of the featured designers on our 2016 Designer Blog Tour in honor of National Crochet Month (NatCroMo). If you’d like to know even more about Pam, check out our post from last year’s blog tour.
About Pam:
Hi! My name is Pam and I am the owner and designer of Sincerely Pam. I would say that I am best known for my use of texture and sense of humor in my designs. I am a self-taught crocheter since February 2012, having entered the design world in April 2013. What began as a simple hobby has blossomed into a passion for all things fiber. In my first year designing, I published 40 patterns ranging from gotta-have collections to animal-inspired cowls and pillows.
In December 2013, I become a proud member of the Design Wars community, competing in several Design Wars Challenges. I was the winner of Most Favorite Design four times: for my Marek Vest in the Back to School Challenge 2014, the Warm Hug Shrug in the Heads Up Challenge 2014, the Dylan Cardigan in the Soft Challenge 2015, and for the Salena Sweater in the Scheepjes Bloom Challenge 2015. My Butterfly Breeze Poncho was voted Top Crochet Pattern Design of 2014 by Craftsy users!
I’m so thrilled that you have found your way over here and hope that you stick around to see what I am up to.
Sincerely, Pam
Tell us about your favorite travel destination.
Hands down, no questions asked, it has to be Jasper, Alberta, Canada. I have so many incredible memories there! Hiking in the mountains, renting a little one room cabin by the lake, watching all the wildlife. It’s absolutely breathtaking!
Packing: Tell us about any crochet clothing or accessories you pack when traveling. Do you have any really cool packing tips to share?
I always have one bag with yarn and a couple of hooks. I used to take as much as I could with me, but I never ended up using it. So now I pack less and use it as an excuse to stop by a LYS if I do end up running out.
Tell us about any crochet projects you take with you when traveling: How many projects do you take? How do you decide which ones to take?
I usually only take whatever project I am currently designing plus a skein of extra yarn in case inspiration strikes!

A Few of Pam’s Designs:
The Salena Sweater, $6
Voted Favorite Design in the Scheepjes Bloom Design Wars Challenge.
This sweater will become a closet staple!! Extra roomy, forgiving, comfortable and trendy! I love the way the sweater drapes, reminding me of cuddling up with some tea, my favorite hook and some yarn. Can you think of a better way to spend the day?
This pattern has instructions for Women’s Sizes XS-3X.
Shelby Triangle Cowl, $5
This pattern perfectly compliments The Shelby Hat pattern (already released) and has instructions for sizes Toddler to Adult, as well as allowing you to use ANY yarn and hook size you like!
Dylan Cardigan in Infant Sizes, $6
This is a fun project to make for either a boy or girl! This particular pattern was designed for Design Wars using the gorgeous Red Heart Soft yarn. You can easily substitute another worsted weight yarn as long as gauge is met.
This listing is for sizes NB-18 months, however it is also available in sizes 2T-10.
