The Crochet Express National Crochet Month Blog Tour

Welcome to Crochetville’s fourth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2016. Join us as we take a virtual tour on our passenger steam train, The Crochet Express, visiting crochet designers, crochet-friendly local yarn stores, and yarn companies, and offer some fun giveaways.

Today’s Posts: Susie Allen | Cylinda Mathews | Lindsey Stephens | Common Threads Yarn Shop | Daily Giveaway

Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. I will love to design a fabulous shawl with this fabulous yarn. Thanks for the opportunity. I Loooovvvvveeeee this yarn.

  2. Since I am a beginner, I think that I would make some lovely flower embellishments with this yarn and then once it is in my hands, see what else I am drawn to make.

  3. With 1200 yds of this gorgeous yarn I would whip up a garment, probably a summer top leaving enough for a light summer shawlette.

  4. As I have said before I would make a lovely lacey summer time shawl. However, I might also make a summery tunic to wear over a t-shirt or camisole.

  5. I really have no idea what I would make, but the color is gorgeous and I’d find a project to do it justice! πŸ™‚

  6. I have a project in mind (bohemian vest) that I have been wanting to make. This would be enough yarn for the vest AND a matching hat. Love this yarn and hope I win.

  7. I’d make one of the many shawls I have saved on ravelry…some very pretty lace ones. So come fall I have a night light shawl to wear as the weather cools.
