Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

I like reading about what all the designers are working on.
I loved getting to see all kinds of different work and learning more about some of my favorite designers. The giveaways have been great. I’m going to have withdrawal after the tour is over.
My favorite part about the Tour was all the new shops, new faces, fun giveaways! I loved reading about each shop and featured fiber person.
I loved meeting all of the designers, seeing products that I didn’t know we’re out there, and seeing new patterns.
I loved learning more about the designers!
Well, since I participated in it, I liked getting the exposure, as well as “meeting” so many other talented designers. I liked the addition of the yarn stores, but noticed they all seemed to be in the Midwest and Southeast. When I travel I like to make note of where the yarn stores are, so that I can seek them out if they are near my route, so information on yarn stores is always appreciated. The give-aways were fantastic!
I loved seeing some of my favorite designers and especially discovering some I didn’t know about. My must-read blog list just got a lot longer!
Of course the giveaways are great fun, but it’s so interesting to see all the different designers.
What I liked most about NATCROMO was being introduced to new crochet work and being able to obtain free or discounted crochet patterns. 🙂
I liked finding out about designers and yarn shops I was not familiar with.
I enjoyed the combination of giveaways, designer features and fiber arts stores. Each day there was something new to learn, fun discoveries, new blogs to visit . . . my world of fiber arts grew like a garden in spring!!! And I most appreciated the community, the togetherness of it all. Everyone encouraging and each unique in their approach and yet connected . . . freeform . . . a whole month of food for thought and reenergizing!!! Thank you. Sincerely, thank you!
Thank you to Donna and Amy and all of the designers and sponsors for making the NatCroMo event such a success! I loved it all.
I love discovering new-to-me designers and, of course, the giveaways and freebies. Thank you for a terrific tour!
I really loved getting to “know” the designers that were featured.
Lovely prize package! Good luck to everyone.
My favourite thing about the blog tour was reading what designers bring as projects when they travel. I am always racking my brain trying to figure out what to bring, how much, etc and always end up with one lonely project that I get bored of in a few days (I am a girl of few WIPs). I thought those tips were helpful and I can’t wait for my next trip to implement what I learned!
I loved being exposed to so many designers who were new to me!
I loved reading about the designer’s…..many of my favorites and discovering new one’s….the giveaway’s are great too….loved all the beautiful yarn….I also really enjoyed the sharing of the recipes….really loved how this was put together as a train trip too….much work and thought went into this….Thank you very much….enjoyed….can’t wait until next year!!! 🙂 <3
This is such a beautiful prize!
Ooops! I didn’t realize that there was a specific question to answer. I think that what I liked most about the NotCroMo blog tour was being introduced to so many different designers.
What did I like best about this year’s blog tour? I discovered several designers whose work I did not know, and found some new patterns from them that I downloaded to make. I’m excited!
PS And I discovered — and visited! — Sheep Thrills Yarn Store, which is in my area!
I loved getting a chance to see all the different designers and their designs. 🙂
This was my first time taking the tour and it was great! I loved meeting all of the wonderful designers and finding out a little about them. Can’t wait until next year!
Thanks a bunch for all your hard work.
I most enjoyed the variety of sites visited. I found new places to explore and found new friends. I also noticed that my interest in my crocheting has found a new purpose. I must try at least some of the many yarns offered. So many projects with so little time.
i enjoyed reading about different designers.
I always look forward to NatCroMo and enjoy seeing what the designers I *know* (and have tested many patterns for) and new ones to me are up to. The girls that run the whole month’s shabang year after year deserve such a large THANK YOU.
this giveaway is a wonderful way to end the whole month of fun 😀
As always, I look forward to learning about the new designers, and the giveaways have been great. My fingers are crossed. Thanks for sharing!
I like how everyone came together to put it all together! This whole month was well thought out and well planned. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it!
I loved learning about all the designers and yarns. I also loved all the patterns that were shown and new and creative ideas that I had not thought of. Thanks for this and I can’t wait for next year.
Reading about all the designers … so many that I had not been exposed to before!! This has been such a fun ride. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I loved learning more about all of the featured designers and their patterns and the recipes and of course the chance to win some fabulous prizes! Thank you!
The mercenary part of me really liked the free patterns and discounts, since that gave me an opportunity to acquire patterns I might normally have been unable to fit into the budget. 😉 But I also really liked learning more about the designers, and discovering more designers to keep an interested eye on! Special to this year, I really enjoyed the profiles of the LYSs, even though none of them are near where I live–it’s something to keep an eye out for when I travel! Thanks so much for hosting the Crochet Express!
I loved it all. Amazed at how many designers were able to join, and the yarn companies/ stores. It was wonderful. Then, the giveaways were the cherry on top.
Great job hosting it. Looking forward to next year. Thanks to all and for everything.
I loved everything about the blog tour this year! I learned about several designers that I had never heard of before as well as saw some wonderful yarns and patterns.
I liked hearing about different shops as well as the designeers
discovering new crocheters that i have not seen before! 🙂 thanks so much!!!
I really liked the blog tour reading about designers seeing the interesting things they are making. I like that a few of them gave away a pattern or discount on patterns. They all make some very cool and interesting things. I enjoyed visiting the shops and the daily giveaways. I am going to miss the tour now.
Thank you for all the wonderful articles this month!! I enjoyed seeing all of the designers and their work!!
I like the giveaways best, but I also really enjoy reading and learning about shops & designers. Thank you for doing all the hard work that this involves!!

I have so enjoyed this year’s tour! I have discovered new yarn stores and new companies. I’ve found several new designers with some gorgeous patterns that have made my to hook list even longer and I was lucky enough to win a prize.
Thank you so much for putting all this together! The theme was fun and content fabulous. Thank you for all your time and commitment to our art form!

Same as last year, I enjoyed learning more about all of the designers. I enjoyed seeing designs of some designers I had not know of before hand. Also like that this year you featured various shops and yarn companies.
This was my first tour and wow, it was totally awesome! I loved meeting all the designers best but everything about the tour was fantastic! I can’t imagine all the work that was put into it. I may have tour withdrawals now that it’s over 🙁 ….lol.
I am so excited for next year! I had no idea about this event and was thrilled to get to know all the wonderful crochet designers!! I’ve fallen in love with crocheting all over again!! Every month is national crochet month for me! Thank you to everyone!!

I enjoyed the focus on the designers and yarn stores!
Thank you for introducing me to so many designers! Some I knew of but didn’t know about them as people, and others are totally new to me. I popped in here and there on last year’s tour, but this is the first year when I’ve really followed along every day, and I got a lot more out of it.
I love to hear about all the traveling done, and getting to know some new designers is great. Thank you so much.
I love reading about and seeing the work of the different designers. I also thought the giveaways were wonderful.
Loved the whole concept.
I like the daily tours of the local yarn shops,
The great ideas and giveaways!
I liked seeing all the beautiful patterns that the talented designers have created and reading their personal stories. It gave me something interesting to look forward to. The freebie patterns were appreciated very much.
This is a lovely prize. You have done such a wonderful job of curating this month of giveaways. Thank you for all the work that you do.
The patterns were my favorites and the designs are inspiring. Thanks for the giveaways too. Good luck to all!
All of the give aways were awesome and the variety of designers was fantastic! Thank you for all if your hard work!
I liked getting to know more crochet stars in the online world….I am a person who spends a lot of time home alone due to medical conditions and this gave me lots of new stuff to learn , to read and wow what amazing talents. So nice to see so many artists come together to broaden the knowledge of fiber arts and crochet and all its creativity. Loved this year, so far the best of all years. Thx for having so many contests and so many links.
I love crocheting and would like to make better and more difficult things, I have been crocheting a long time but not make anything hard or exciting like I see some hers.
I loved all the beautiful yarns and new designs and that IWON something, thanks for all the hard work ya’ll!!!!
I loved seeing all the different creations from each designer.
I enjoyed the variety of designers and their designs, the assortment of yarn and the personalities of the yarn shops that were featured. You have greatly expanded my awareness of all things crochet!
My favorite part was discovering new designers I didn’t know of
This year’s tour featured designers of whom I’d never heard along with some of my favorite crocheters. My favorite part was finding out about them, reading their stories, downloading their (lucious! Thank you all!!!) patterns, and bookmarking their information for later investigation. I also found out about quite a few LYS that I just may have the opportunity to visit when I’m out of town. This is the first year I have been able to check every day on the tour, and I loved each minute of it! Thank you to Amy and Donna at Crochetville, and everyone who joined! Have a wonderful remainder of 2016!!!
What didn’t I love? I loved the designers tips and patterns. The recipes were awesome too! Thank you for all the work that was put into this fun virtual adventure!
My favorite was learning about the buffalo yarn. I have a great need to purchase some in the future.
