Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. Some of my favorites are I Love This Yarn, Bernat Blanket, and Vanna’s Choice. Would love to try this yarn as I have never tried it before.

  2. I like lots of different kinds of yarn. Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable; Bamboo so fine, kristin amdahl, be so sporty the yarn is soft. It is hard to say just which ones I like.

  5. My favorite yarn is Homespun but I love trying new yarns and techniques. It would be awesome to win. I’ve never used this yarn or a bamboo crochet hook before.

  7. I like so many different yarns, but I am a sucker for silks! I didn’t realize that Jenny King had her own line of crochet hooks.

  8. 1st of all, my favorite weight is 3 DK. I love natural fibers the most, alpaca, merino wool, silk / bamboo blends, cotton. Craftsy sells a lot of great brands and there are so many yarns I love that I’d fill up this page. That doesn’t mean I can buy them all, I’ve gotten many new yarns at thrift stores and I live near a fabric warehouse that sells mill end and some brand names as well, for super low prices so that allows me to make things at a fraction of the normal cost.

  9. I like to crochet with James Brett, Vannas Choice, Bernat Baby, alpaca and Caron Simply Soft.. I don’t usually get the chance to use specialty yarn unless I’m gifted with it..

  10. I love Hobby Lobby’s I love this Cotton because of it’s softness and Stylecraft Special DK because of it’s wide color array.
