Want to Chat about the Tour?
Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

Oh, I think I’ll keep this scrumptious yarn for myself!
That looks like such pretty yarn!
Amazing yarn! Would love to try it! Great tour so far this year Amy! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I would keep the yarn, but probably give the finish objet .
I will keep this yarn but probably give away what I make
Call me greedy but this yarn would stay with me as well as the finished project.
That would be tough! I might consider making something to give away 🙂
Since I love bamboo and this pattern reminds me of kaleidoscopes which I collect, I would have to keep it for me.
I’ve never used a 100% bamboo yarn and I have a pattern just suited for this weight so . . . honestly, I would keep this beautiful yarn for myself!!!
I would have to keep such lovely yarn for myself, but I might give as a gift whatever I crocheted with it.
Thank you Nurturing Fibers for offering lovely fiber……..
I would probably keep it…..just being honest
Myself
I love Bamboo yarn! Not sure what I would make yet, but the possibilities are endless!
Thank you for the chance to win this yarn, and thank you Nurturing Fibers for the wonderful Frida pattern.
With 22 balls of yarn I would be able to use it for me & MANY friends : )
I’d keep it. It’s beautiful yarn.
Well, I would give away the yarn-it because I already have one.;-) But, onto this giveaway, wow this is a very generous prize! I hadn’t heard of this South African company before today, the yarn looks beautiful.
What beautiful yarn!!! Love the free pattern! I sure hope I win!
Oh how wonderful! Thank you for the opportunity! I would probably make a blanket for family as a gift!
I would keep the yarn, but would probably gift the project.
I would keep some and share some of this lovely yarn if I am lucky enough to win it!
definitely keep it for myself!
I don’t have many friends who crochet, so I’d probably keep the yarn, use it to make the afghan & gift the afghan to someone for Christmas.
Since the question didn’t change I’ll just comment on the yarn. It is gorgeous and how generous of them! Now if I did the math right, 22 balls valued at $110 would make each ball only $5! 😮 Very budget friendly. I expected hand dyed bamboo to cost MUCH more. 🙂
I think I would keep the yarn but most of the things I make are gifts for other people so I’m not the only one who would enjoy this beautiful yarn.
I would definitely keep it for myself…just until I had crocheted the throw. The throw would then be donated to a local organization that works with abused children to be auctioned to raise funds.
That yarn is absolutely gorgeous! I have never worked with bamboo yarn before. I would not give it away as I’ve never worked with it and would love to. Really excited about this wonderful give away, thank you :]
I would keep the yarn, make the afghan and then donate the afghan.
What a beautiful pattern and gorgeous yarn! I live in a warm climate and am so glad to learn about another wool-free yarn. I don’t need an afghan, but this would be enough yarn to make gorgeous gifts and maybe even a little something for myself. It’s a dream of mine to visit South Africa. How wonderful it would be to visit their studio, too! Thanks!
I love this giveaway & the throw has special meaning to me, my mommas name is Frieda and I want to make this throw in memory of her. I lost my momma in 2002. She taught me to crochet when I was a little girl and she did the most beautiful work you ever saw in your life. I hope I can win this yarn to do this beautiful throw. thank you for the memories
Hello There
This pattern is a free download on my web page http://www.nurturingfibres.co.za, so please feel free to download and make it xx
I would make something out of it, and give it as a gift.
The YarnIt I will gift but this fabulous yarn I will keep. Once I make the afghan then one of the godchildren or sons may get it. Fabulous prize!
This yarn looks so unique! Wonder if its soft? Pattern is adorable!!
I love bamboo yarn and this pattern is beautiful!
I’d totally be keeping this one for myself!
I will keep the yarn and give the finished item as a gift. I so look forward to working with this yarn. Such a great giveaway.
I’d keep the yarn, but likely gift some of the FOs. The blanket is gorgeous, but I don’t think I’d like a blanket of 100% bamboo. I prefer it for accessories. Thank you for featuring a yarn company that uses plant fibers!
I would totally keep this, that yarn is gorgeous and I would love the opportunity to work with it and your company. Great giveaway, fingers crossed! Thanks or sharing!
I definitely would keep
What gorgeous yarn! The colors are so rich!
I would keep the Yarn-it for me! 🙂 But with the yarn, I would likely make a gift for someone special. 🙂
Love to win some of this beautiful cotton.
I would keep a YarnIt for myself. Have wanted one ever since Stitches South last year but haven’t been able to work one into my budget.
I’m pretty selfish with yarn. I would keep it for myself, though I might give away the finished project.
Bamboo yarn is soooooooooo soft! It is perfect for those who may have animal fiber sensitivities, but it is also great for baby blankets. I would give a blanket made with this yarn away, although what is left over I think I would use in a “mish-mash” item, perhaps a cowl, for myself! 😉
I would definitely keep the yarnit for myself. It would be nice to keep my yarn clean while traveling.
I am not sure if I would keep this beautiful yarn and make something, or maybe I would gift it to my sister or a friend.. Thanks for the chance to win!
Thank you for this wonderful giveaway! If I won, I would keep the yarn (and probably the finished project) as a treat to myself.
I would keep the yarn and make the throw for my dear aunt that lives in Virginia. Many years ago she gifted me a throw as a wedding present. She would love this one.
I would make the Frida Throw and gift it to my husband.
I have been wanting to contribute to Prudence Mapstone’s latest project: Bohemian Jumpers & Jazz yarn bombing—in conjunction with the 50 Years of Flower Power exhibit. This yarn looks perfect for that. Any left over, would be mine, all mine!!!
I would keep the yarn and make a prayer shawl to give away
I would share with a friend! 🙂
I bet this yarn is so pretty in person. I would love to work up this blanket and have it in my living room.
This is awesome!!
I would definitely keep this gorgeous yarn for myself.
I would probably keep it for myself
i would keep it an make a top for myself
I’ve never worked with bamboo yarn – would love to give it a try.
I absolutely LOVE the Frida Throw pictured in this giveaway. It is a stunning work of crochet craftsmanship!
Thank you so very much! Can’t wait to try working with this yarn
