The Crochet Express National Crochet Month Blog Tour

Welcome to Crochetville’s fourth annual National Crochet Month (NatCroMo) blog tour, taking place each day of March 2016. Join us as we take a virtual tour on our passenger steam train, The Crochet Express, visiting crochet designers, crochet-friendly local yarn stores, and yarn companies, and offer some fun giveaways.

Today’s Posts: Donna Childs | Angelia Robinson | In The Loop | Red Heart | Daily Giveaway

Want to Chat about the Tour?

Part of the fun of taking a passenger steam train trip is talking with your fellow passengers. This year, we’re providing two locations where our passengers can get to know each other. We’d love to hear about your favorite things you’ve discovered on the tour and see photos of your current crochet projects. You’re invited to join us daily for virtual cocktails/appetizers and dinner. (We’ll be sharing links to some fabulous recipes!)

  1. My favorite Red Heart yarn is Boutique Unforgettable. I don’t use a lot of Red Heart other than that one, though it’d be nice to get a variety to try out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. The Red Heart Love is my favorite yarn. I’ve been using Red Heart for over 50 years. There have been so many changes to your yarn over the years and it’s been a joy to be there for them. Thank you!

  3. Sashay, Velvety, and Infinity…oh my! I love the new Red Heart Yarns, as well as the standards. Thanks for sharing! I think I need to go yarn shopping now. Ha!

  4. I really like Unforgettable and reflective! I have made several hats for the little ones in my family and extended family and the parents love the reflective hats!

  5. Red Heart Super Saver FTW! I use it for all my afghans and throws. Love the color variety. And leftover scraps I use to learn new stitches and techniques. I love Red Heart.

  6. I love the With Love line especially when creating for little ones. The super saver line is another favorite for all the colors that are available.

  7. Definitely love the Super Saver yarns, helps keep expenses down but definitely like the soft feel of some of the boutique yarns. How can anyone not love Red Heart yarns??!!?! ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I like the Red Heart Boutique Sashay yarns and also like the super saver yarns. Love all the color choices. Thank you so much for a chance to win.

  9. I like red heart Unforgettable and supper saver, but I use others as well. I like that I can wash and wear their yarn.

  10. I love the classic Super Saver for home dรฉcor projects. Boutique Infinity makes lovely fashion accessories. Really, I love it all!

  11. I like a lot of Red Heart Yarns; they have so many colors and types of yarn, I can’t choose just one! I also love their patterns and have made several items using their patterns and yarn…

  12. I really enjoy working with Red Heart With Love!! I have also been impressed recently by the additional softness of Red Heart Super Saver. Nicely improved!

  13. My favorite RH yarn was Super Tweed, and I’m Super Bummed that it’s been discontinued. I also love good old Super Saver for amigurumi, Soft for hats and scarves, With Love for blankets, and Unforgettable for the long color changes. I’d use a lot more Comfort Sport if there were more colors available.

  14. I love Red Heart Soft for making chemo caps, Red Heart Gumdrop for fun-colored baby blankets & Boutique Unforgettable for my first Virus Shawl!!

  15. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than relaxing with my yarn and crochet hook. I love the results and the sense of achievement when I have completed each project.

  16. Mostly all I have available in my area is super saver and love. Of the two love is my favorite. Would love to try out some of the boutique yarns and specialty yarns.
