PARODY: “Ripping Out Is Hard to Do”

Ok, we’ve all done it. You’re crocheting. You make a mistake. You don’t notice it. Twenty rows later, or maybe even “one thousand and two” rows later, you gasp! Oh, no, all that ripping out! Or frogging as you may also call it. Well, this video will have you in stitches! Because we all know that “Ripping Out Is Hard to Do.”

Vocals by Jennifer E. Ryan, lyrics by Bonnie Barker, and acted out by Terri Mitchell. Parody of Neil Sedaka’s “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do.”

Oh, and by the way, this video was recorded at CGOA Fabulous Friday Fun Night. Just how much fun is Friday Fun Night? It’s as much fun as this video! So run, do not walk, to the next Crochet Guild of America Annual Conference.

You can read a few more interesting tidbits about this performance in Bonnie’s blog post: More from the CGOA Conference in Manchester, NH. Susan Lowman, The Crochet Architect, also wrote about how much she enjoyed this song.

Thanks to Jennifer E. Ryan for being one of the designers on our NatCroMo Designer Blog Tour! In our post about her, she shared a “Fun Story from the Crochet Industry,” thus reminding me that this wonderful video had not yet been posted. You rock, Jennifer and Bonnie and Terri!
