Promoting My Facebook Page

Amy and Donna, will you please share a link to my Facebook Business Page or Group on the Crochetville Facebook page?

As you probably are aware, one of Crochetville’s goals is to provide help and support to crochet business owners. Because of this, we receive many requests from people who want us to share links to their Facebook business page or group on the Crochetville Facebook page so our large fan base can learn about their business. (Who wouldn’t want all that major publicity for free? We understand.)

You may also see us posting such links from time to time. These links are posted because we have existing professional and business relationships with the people and businesses about whom we are posting. Sometimes we post about them, sometimes they post about us. It’s a reciprocal arrangement that benefits both parties, and we are confident promoting these businesses due to our first-hand experience with them.

We have spent a lot of time developing a trust-based relationship with our fan base. When we share about a business, our fans interpret that as our endorsement of that particular business. If we don’t know anything about you, we are uncomfortable giving that type of endorsement. Unfortunately, due to the number of requests we receive, we simply don’t have the time to check out each request thoroughly to make sure it is a business we are comfortable endorsing.

On another note, the ability to reach our large base (over 86,000 fans; over 100,000 people each week see our posts) is a valuable commodity. If you are interested in having us promote your business for you, you may want to check out the promotional service we offer. We’d be happy to talk with you about customized options and rates as well. Please use our Contact Us Form to get in touch with us.

Although we can’t promote your business without an advertising arrangement, we do offer some FREE, yes, FREE, advertising opportunities to owners of indie crochet businesses on our social community site. Read our Free Advertising Policies for more information.
