First of all, I’d like to give a special thank-you to The Tulip Company for sponsoring the Crochet Guild of America‘s 2014 Design Competition. Thank you, Tulip!
I was able to thank the wonderful folks at Tulip personally when I attend the TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) industry trade show last weekend in Indianapolis. They even gave me two prizes for a giveaway!
My Brief Review:
I don’t have any of the Rose hooks, but I have a complete set of the standard Tulip Etimo aluminum hooks. These hooks glide like butter through every yarn I’ve ever used them with, and I’ve never had a problem with the hooks splitting any yarn. I also have the complete set of steel hooks. When I traveled to TNNA, I took my complete set of Etimo aluminum hooks with me, not knowing what yarn I might come across while there that was just begging me to swatch with it.
What We’re Giving Away
1. A Tulip Etimo Rose crochet hook in US size 7.0/4.00 mm
2. A Tulip Etimo Rose crochet hook in US size 7.5/4.50mm

Oooh…these hooks are pretty! My hands tend to ache so I have to have thicker handles. These would be perfect. Plus they are pink, my favorite color. 😀
I haven’t tried these hooks yet but would like to 🙂
Could use these hooks! My hands need a comfortable grip. 🙂
I also get achy hands/wrists, so the bigger handle is very appealing – not to mention how pretty these are! 🙂
You can never have too many hooks!!
I’ve seen this type of hook and wondered if it would help me and my mom (who has arthritis) to continue to do what we love to do – crochet! This would be the perfect chance to try them and see for ourselves. 🙂
The only hooks i have are the aluminum o es you can find at walmart. These would be a treat especially for my 14 yr old son whose is learning to crochet and loves pink.
you can’t have too many crochet hooks
I’m always interesting in trying new hooks!
I want to win so I can give it to my Mom. She has severe arthritis and these are pretty as well as easier to use. 🙂
Looks like a nice hook!
I could have sworn I put a comment here… I would like to win this for my Mom. She has severe arthritis and these are pretty as well as functional.
I’ve been drooling over these hooks for a year! They are so pretty and I’m sure they’re great to work with. I will be buying a set someday.
My husband has the gray Etimo hooks and I would love to see how the Rose hook feels.
One simply does not have too many hooks! Haha! What a neat design! I hope I win ^_^

her to keep this art for the next generation thanks for the opportunity
Awesome give away. I have the Franciscans would like observing the rose are any different.
They look amazing! 🙂
These look just the job to help with my fibromyalgia. I use crochet to try and take my mind off the pain, but some days lose the battle to numbness and/or pins and needles
I’ve always wanted to try Tulip Etimo hooks. But I didn’t find them in Poland so I’d have to order them from abroad. Maybe this giveaway is a chance for me :)))
I would love to win these hooks. I always have a lot of projects going and like to keep a hook in every project.
I would love to try these hooks. Thanks for the chance to win.
a new pink hook…can’t beat it with a stick!
Love to have these. I sometimes have trouble with yarn splitting as i crochet. I would love to try these out and appreciate the opportunity to win these. Thank you!
I’d love to try a new hook!
Love tulip hooks and would love to have another
Thanks for the opportunity. Will love to try them.
I just love having hooks of all types. I have metal, bamboo, japanese, plastic hooks. They are all different and some are best for particular tasks.
Would love to try these out on my upcoming hooking projects!!!
I hear that they help greatly reduce the amount of pain felt when crocheting for long periods of time. Being 33 with arthritis (Army veteran), this would be such a God send!
I would love to try these. I Have arthritis and I hope these would be more comfortable to use
I’d love to try these!
I have arthritis, so am always willing to try out new hooks to see if they cause any extra pain.
i never used a ergonomic hook before… just use the plain old ones…. I would really like to try one of these! And in PINK! beautyfull!
I’ve never heard of this brand and believe one can never have too many hooks
As a new hooker I’m always looking for new hooks to add to my collection.
I like that Tulip crochet hooks can help eliminate the strain my hands go through during a marathon crocheting session. I also like that they don’t get caught in the plies of different yarns. (So frustrating when that happens.)
I’m definitely looking to expand my collection of hooks!
I’d really enjoy these hooks. I can’t wait to win.
I don’t have one of these hooks yet..are they better?
I’d love to win one of these!! I’ve been wondering if I’d like them any better than the traditional style hook-if I would get less hand cramping??? thanks!
I have never used one but would love to try one…i have alot of hand and finger pain…
I would love to win one of these hooks, I have heard that they are the cadilac of hooks.
